Firm History
Jennings Stephenson, PC was founded in 2005 on the principles of personal service, professional integrity and reliable results. Having worked in the industry for many years, founding partners Mike Jennings, LS and Troy Stephenson, LS, saw an opportunity to bring their technical expertise and project management experience together to offer clients a personal, hands-on approach to meeting their land surveying needs.
Serving a wide range of clients, JSPC has remained consistently focused on providing responsive, reliable service for more than a decade. Key to this approach is the hands-on, practical experience of the leadership team and a company-wide culture of commitment. Surveyor, mentor, father and friend, Principal, Mike Jennings, LS exemplified the JSPC mission and was instrumental in shaping the firm’s future. In his memory, JSPC continues to serve each client with professional focus based on real-world experience. Mike’s legacy of dedication is evident in the work we do every day.
Leadership
H. Troy Stephenson, LS
A licensed surveyor, Mr. Stephenson holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Technology in Construction & Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University. With more than 25+ years of practical and professional experience, he has worked as a surveyor, project manager and team leader with leading civil engineering firms before co-founding JSPC. Mr. Stephenson's experience includes field collection, research, calculation and documentation of data and involves extensive work for both public and private development clients.

Kenny Blaylock, L S
With more then 30 years of experience, Mr.Blaylock has been a part of JSPC for 15 years. Kenny Blaylock is an experienced Surveyor and CAD technician. His experience includes project delivery for commercial, municipal and residential clients. As a Survey Project Manager, he brings a unique level of experience and project understanding to his work with the JSPC team.
